The company Embutidos Marineros S.L.U, known commercially as Embumar, was born in 1999 in the fishing port of Bonanza de Sanlúcar de Barrameda, to become the company with the invention patent to stuff fishery products, specifically fish eggs.
The idea comes from its manager, José Viva, who after extensive experience in the meat sector notes that in the fishing sector there is little transformation of the raw material, and decides to apply their knowledge of meat sausage to the fishing industry.
The maxim of the company is to offer comfortable culinary solutions, of quality, at a good price, with a long shelf life and healthy, since they are 100% natural products, without artificial colors or preservatives and that maintain all their organoleptic and nutritional properties, with a high content in Omega 3.
Embumar produces an average of five tons per day, although in strong campaigns such as summer and Christmas the production can exceed seven tons. The raw material is received in the facilities from different markets in Spain, mainly from Cadiz and Galicia, and from other countries such as Chile, Peru, New Zealand and Iceland. The process also has strict quality, safety and traceability controls.
The growth of the company is continuous and for this reason it is currently in the industrialization phase.
