Ahumados Ubago started up in 2004 with the building of its new factory in the Parque Tecnológico de Andalucía, Malaga.
From the outset Ubago maximised on the expertise of its team who have more than 25 years of experience in smoking fish in the traditional Danish way, whilst at the same time setting up a factory with maximum flexibility and cost efficiency in a very hygienic and ecological environment.
The new factory, our team of people and all the continuous product improvements and production are exclusively to Mercadona.
At Ubago, our passion is to listen to consumer suggestions, dedicating a large proportion of our time to visiting shops in all geographical areas.
Weekly deliveries of totally fresh Salmon arrive from the Norwegian Fjords, which take 3 days to transport. It is only possible to produce perfect top quality smoked salmon by choosing the best raw materials and involving the suppliers in the selection as much as possible.
