The main activity of UAB Rietavo veterinarine sanitarija is handling of animal by-products. The company deals in meat-bone meal, rendered technical fat and bovine skins.
Having started its activity in 1987 as state enterprise, in November 2002, Rietavo vererinarine sanitarija was privatised by UAB Arvi ir ko and became private limited liability company.
The project entitled “Animal Waste Processing Plant Meeting the EU Standards” was implemented in 2004. New plants approved for processing of category 1 and 3 animal by-products were built. Safe handling of these products from both veterinary and environmental point of view is the main goal of UAB Rietavo veterinarine sanitarija.
Raw materials are collected by means of our own vehicles from the territories of Lithuania and Latvia.
