Les Pêcheries de la Barre are a fish trading company installed in Concarneau since 1958, and obtain supplies daily from the Breton fishing ports.
The many and varied types of fishing (in-shore trawling, independent fishermen, deep-sea trawling, line fishing, trawl lines, nets, ring-nets, dredging, pots, etc) are the reason for the tremendous variety of species we are able to offer.
Les Pêcheries de la Barre operate on 2 levels:
On the one hand, on the national market where processing is the main business (filleting, skinning, cutting) for a customer base of supermarkets, wholesalers and fish shops.
On the other hand, on the export market where the fine and in-shore fish trade predominates, with a customer base of supermarkets and wholesalers.
