Our process includes strict quality checks and grading upon arrival. Followed by either machine or manual filleting, skinning and trimming as required. After processing the fish is quickly frozen using freezing belts or plate freezers to lock in flavor and structure. Some products are glazed with ice for extra protection during storage and distribution.
Northseafood offers a variety of product preparations including breaded and pre-fried options and mugnaia products which are dusted with flour mixed with lemon juice, spices and if necessary glazed with butter. Our 'Steam Delight' products are fillets with flavorsome toppings packed in steam foil for easy oven or microwave preparation. Our products are packaged for both retail and foodservice customers ranging from small folding boxes, trays, flowpack and polybags to large 300 kg boxes.
