This coldstore is located on the Muelle Grande, Puerto de la Luz y de Las Palmas.
This port, strategically placed in the Atlantic Ocean between 3 continents: Europe, Africa and America, has all the necessary logistic facilities to offer you any kind of service you may expect.
Spanish Pelagic contributes to the consolidation of this port as a Port of Reference, at a worldwide level, as far as frozen fishing is concerned.
The coldstore has a surface of 12.000 square meters and a total capacity of 80.000 cubic meters.
Situated directly on the pier, able to operate simultaneously seven ships each with a length over all between 90 and 120 meters.
Eight coldstore rooms, each 30 x 25 meters (I x W) and a height of 10 meters, give room for 8 x 2.500 mt of frozen goods to be stored at -25ºC, stacking palletized goods up to 5 pallets high.
Two operation areas, of each 20 x 64 meters (I x W), are connected with 2 precooled corridors (4ºC) giving entrance to each cold store room.
Each operation area has 6 entry doors connecting directly with the pier. On top of this, the operation area, located on the north side, also has 9 container-docks.
