KONTOVEROS S.A. was founded in 1968 by Emmanuel Kontoveros in Athens-Greece and was engaged ever since in the importation, processing and packaging of fishery products from all over the world. The new state-of-the-art facilities of KONTOVEROS S.A. in Aspropyrgos Attica cover an area of 9.500 sq.m. in a 17 acres plot. The facilities are full equipped with cutting-edge machinery, while the highly trained scientific staff guarantees the quality of the manufactured products.
In year 2000, KONTOVEROS S.A. is transferred in the new state-of-the-art facilities in Aspropyrgos Attica.
The new facilities of processing and standardization of frozen fishery products apply both the HACCP system and the international standards ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 22000:2005, certified by the TÜV NORD Group.
