The result is an organisation that profiles itself in the world of fairs & exhibitions by its marketing communication. It is not about square metres, it is about exhibitors’ profits.
VNU Exhibitions is deeply rooted in Dutch business. The first steps were taken in 1916 when Jaarbeurs was born. Over the next ninety years the exhibition medium developed into a high-quality communication platform.
In 2002 VNU has been shareholder of the originally Utrecht-based fair-organising company. The company’s strategy is based on European expansion and further professionalisation.
Since October, 2007, Jaarbeurs is 100% owner of the company again.
