LNS is a specialist breeding company, which applies advanced selective breeding technologies to the Landcatch strain of Atlantic salmon. This ensures that each generation of fish has within it the potential to perform better than the previous one. LNS also provides its technologies and expertise in other fields of animal breeding. LNS Inside is a quality mark which provides farmers with an assurance of the genetic provenance and breeding governance of their Landcatch stocks. The mark can only be applied to the Landcatch strain and indicates that parent fish have been genetically improved through selective breeding under the direct management of LNS. Thursday 9th December 2010 : Hendrix Genetics and Lithgows Limited have signed a Letter of Intent for Hendrix Genetics to acquire Landcatch & LNS (Landcatch Natural Selection) from Lithgows Limited. 13-Jun-2011 : Hendrix Genetics has completed its acquisition of Landcatch & Landcatch Natural Selection from Lithgows Limited.
