Although the original profession of the Guyader Group is traditionally that of a meat processor, in 1989 the company diversified into seafood products, which now account for the whole of the production at the Landrévarzec site. However, the original meat products have not been abandoned as in 1998 the group bought Gueguen Meat Processors at Trégourez. In 2007 the firm also extended its range of prime products with the purchase of Wilmar (Nantes) which specialises in the smoking of top-quality fish. Late 2008: the Guyader group opened a logistics centre at Trégourez to consolidate customer service and improve the carbon footprint of the group, as part of its policy for sustainable development.
