Safricope S.A. was founded in 1970 in the fishing port of Marín, Pontevedra. It´s the first cold store installed in the fishing port of Marín to attend frozen unloading and storing. At present, it is part of the shipowner Pesmar S.A., its majority shareholder. Pesmar S.A. also owns a fishing fleet and another cold store. With a wide commercial activity, it undertook from the beginning to offer it´s clients the highest quality in products, and a personalized attention to meet the market needs.
