Ocean Fresh Pvt. Ltd. established fishing company since 1999. During its first year it was mainly operating local dhonis (Boats) and purchasing fish from local fisherman and exporting to Sri Lanka. At that time also our company was one of the main leading exporters of Chilled Yellow fin tuna. As company became stronger and influential in the fishing industries, it spread its wings, in mid 2001 the company started its new venture and started operating long line vessel in the EEZ of Republic of Maldives. Ocean Fresh started exporting Chilled tuna to Japan and USA markets. Our latest venture we started was making an EU standard floating factory to export to European markets. Our factory is a floating factory which is situated just nearby Male' International Airport which is the way out for all fresh products from Maldives.  This Factory has been approved by the European Union and registered under MDV012
