Seafood for the Future (SFF) is a non-profit seafood advisory and promotion program of the Aquarium of the Pacific. SFF’s mission is simply to ensure that more sustainable seafood is offered in restaurants and markets in Southern California. We’re building a network of businesses – restaurants, distributors, and producers – that are committed to providing better seafood choices from well-managed fisheries or farms.
Our new website is an easy-to-use resource and practical guide that provides anyone interested in sustainable seafood with the latest information on a variety of topics that are central to the enjoyment and understanding of seafood, seafood dining and seafood consumption. Our symbol of support ensures that seafood marked with the SFF logo is sustainable.
Our promotional program offers consumers one complimentary admission to the Aquarium of the Pacific as a reward for the purchase of a seafood entrée marked with the SFF logo at a participating partner restaurant. Our partnership program provides participating restaurants with promotional opportunities with SFF and the Aquarium of the Pacific.
