Arctica Finance was incorporated in 2009 and operates as a regulated securities brokerage firm under a license from the Icelandic Financial Supervisory Authority (Fjármálaeftirlitið).
Arctica operates within a legal framework stipulated in law no. 161/2002, on financial undertakings, no. 108/2007, on securities transactions, and no. 2/1995, on limited liability companies.
Arctica Finance focuses on servicing institutional investors and other financially capable parties and offers services in three areas, Wealth Management, Corporate Advisory and Capital Markets. The personnel of Arctica Finance are all experienced in providing advisory services in the relevant fields of Arctica‘s target markets. Emphasis is on developing client relationships where professionalism, trust and reliability are of uttermost importance.
Arctica's operations are primarily in Iceland but the network of Arctica's personnel stretches throughout the international arena and Arctica's employees have operated and/or participated in many international projects, i.e. in Scandinavia, UK, continental Europe and North America.
