Hojiblanca, an Andalusian Cooperative Society, is a cooperative of second degree, i.e., a union of cooperatives engaged in the production of extra virgin olive oil and table olives. It currently includes 48 olive oil cooperatives located at the heart of Andalusia, in the provinces of Córdoba, M·laga and Seville. 45 of these are olive mills and 9 are olive seasoning plants.
The Hojiblanca cooperative is made up of 23,000 olive-producing families that farm 24 million trees in a total of 180.000 hectares of olive groves. All this together with an annual average production of 80,000 tons of virgin olive oil and 30,000 tons of table olives, turn Grupo Hojiblanca into the largest producer of extra virgin olive oil and table olives in the world. In fact, it is present in the international markets, with exports to over 40 countries, among which we find the United States, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Sweden, Finland, Austria, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Japan, China or South Africa
