The Company focuses on salmon farming as well as the processing, smoking, packaging and sale of farmed Scottish salmon. Its marine and freshwater farms are based in Scotland and on the Inner and Outer Hebridean Isles.
Northern Link Ltd. (“Northern Link”) announce its participation in the Private Placement of Shares in Lighthouse Caledonia ASA (“LHC”) on February 13, 2009 approved by the Board of Directors and the Extraordinary General Meeting of LHC on 3 March 2009, and the shares are subsequently listed on Oslo Axess on or about 6 March 2009, Northern Link would hold greater than 50% of the outstanding shares of LHC and will therefore be prepared to submit a bid for the purchase of the remaining shares in the company, as pursuant to the Norwegian Securities Trading Act, Section 6-1.
On 22 March 2010 with the aim of transferring the activities of the Olso registered Lighthouse Caledonia Group to a new company, The Scottish Salmon Company Ltd (SSC). SSC is a 100 percent subsidiary of Lighthouse Caledonia ASA (LHC ASA) and registered in Jersey. As a consequence of the restructuring, SSC will ultimately become the new parent company of the Group, with a continuous listing on Oslo Axess.
Oslo Bors has informed Lighthouse Caledonia that, Oslo Børs has on 16 July 2010 made the following resolution: "The shares in Lighthouse Caledonia ASA will be delisted from listing on Oslo Axess. Last day of listing will be 19 July 2010."
