Arctic Green Foods vision is to be the leading supplier of arctic provisions, provisions of the best possible quality. The vision is also to develop and optimize the locale production and catch of fish and locale game on local level.
Through a continuous focus on product development, customer service, fishermen and hunters conditions and education of employees, Arctic Green Food is working on lifting the settlements financially and social conditions of the local population’s qualifications up to date.
The history of Arctic Green Food goes back to 1774, when the Royal Greenland Trade KGH was established. In 1985 the company was part of the Greenlandic home rule government organized by Royal Greenland A/S then under Nuka A/S and lastly KNI A/S. Arctic Green Food became a privately own company in June 2007, today Arctic Green Food is own by the employees; the international sale office in Denmark, DayCatch Greenland A/S and Greenland Selfrule/Greenland Venture.
The Head office of Arctic Green Food is in Maniitsoq and from here the production, quality control of domestic products, product development and domestic sales. In Hobro in Denmark lies the international sales office by DayCatch Greenland A/S, from where the quality control and international sale undertakes. Also where the international clientele gets feedback on theirs product wises.
