JSC "Baltijos delikatesai" was founded in 1999.
The main line of activity is a canned fish production and its realization. JSC "Baltijos delikatesai" cooperates with group of companies-partners in Lithuania, Russia, Spain and Mauritania.
These companies pursue a wide range of activities, including fishing fleet exploitation; forwarding; transportation, processing and realization of fish products, ship repair etc.
To widening activity of fish industry companies-partners building of a fish-canning factory was begun in an industrial zone of the Palanga in April 2001, which was completed in April 2003. It is the first fish-canning factory in Lithuania, which is designed, constructed and equipped in full conformity with the international standards of job safety, safety engineering, ecology and production method. The total area is 3,200 square meters, including industrial and administrative premises. The employees' number is less than 100. The main part of workers has many years experience on fish canning and fish processing factories in Lithuania.
The high-efficiency equipment has been made in EU countries and allows to produce up to 2.5 mln. cans per one month at two-shift work. The modern laboratory of the company allows quality control of production at all production phases.
