In 1936 Don Demetrio HREÑUK, son of Ukrainian immigrants, with the active participation of his wife Catherine, founded a family business that was dedicated in the early years for planting, harvesting and drying of yerba mate. In 1966 acquired its first mill and began marketing the yerba mate. Thus is born ROSAMONTE Yerba Mate.
Over the years on the same trunk is HREÑUK Company SA, which expanded its production, processing and marketing to other areas of economic activity, adding Tea, Aquaculture, Livestock, Forestry and refrigerators.
