In the year 1995 Lota Protein started operations of fishmeal produced from raw material purchase to fishermen in the area and catches its industrial fleet.
In year 2000 Koppernaes joined the Company property, the Norwegian group who incorporate technology, acquiring 100% of the company in 2004.
During 2013, Lota Protein becomes part of "TripleNine Group" fishing company formed by 50% by the fishing company Vedde AS, belonging to Norwegian Koppernaes and in equal proportion, by the Danish company TripleNine A / S.
