Maritime Robotics was initiated february 2005 as a one-man enterprise and expanded to three employees in 2006. The same year the company started the technology development of their own Unmanned Surface Vehicle System.
Today the company counts 6 skilled and motivated employees.
Maritime Robotics addresses both the military and the civilian market. In the military market, it is mainly the risk reduction factor by not having personell onboard smaller support vessels that is the major value driver. More and more civilian applications will in the coming years benefit from the increased cost-effeciency introduced by USV systems.
