Noordzeeboederij foundation works on sustainable seaweed cultivation in the North Sea. The board of the foundation consists of Marcel Schuttelaar (Schuttelaar & Partners) and Job Schipper (Hortimare).
The foundation aims to connect, tell and accelerate seaweed cultivation in the Netherlands. This is done firstly with the seaweed platform where parties come together from across the seaweed chain and share knowledge and experience. The foundation has a test site in the North Sea, the experimental farm, which is used for research, experiments and demonstrations of concepts around:

Stichting Noordzeeboederij werkt aan duurzame zeewierteelt op de Noordzee. Het bestuur van de stichting bestaat uit Marcel Schuttelaar (Schuttelaar & Partners) en Job Schipper (Hortimare).
De stichting heeft ten doel het verbinden, vertellen en versnellen van zeewierteelt in Nederland. Dit gebeurt ten eerste met het zeewierplatform waarin partijen uit de gehele zeewierketen samenkomen en kennis en ervaring delen. Daarnaast heeft de stichting een testlocatie op de Noordzee, de Proefboerderij, welke wordt ingezet voor onderzoek, experimenten en demonstraties van concepten rondom:
Teelt van zeewier, vis, schelpdieren en andere flora en fauna
Ecologie en biodiversiteit
Multifunctioneel ruimtegebruik van de zee
