Since 1974, Velan has pioneered the design of high performance cryogenic valves for LNG carriers and terminals and other liquefied gases such as oxygen, nitrogen, argon, hydrogen and helium at temperatures as low as -253.9º C. With their patented technology, Velan fabricates cryogenic valves of various types such as gate, globe, control, swing check, ball, double and triple-offset, for sizes up to DN 1200 and pressure rating up to #1500. It also offers valves for extreme low temperatures of 2°C above zero.
Manufactured in France in a 14,900 sqm facility, Velan cryogenic valves are extensively used throughout the world. The product line is one of the most technically advanced and popular and has been qualified by major Classification Societies.
