The mission of the SIAP is to provide and to agricultural, fishery producers and economic agents involved in agri-food chains, reliable and timely information for decision-making that contribute to sustainable rural development information.
Its vision is to be the coordinating institution of the National Information System for Sustainable Rural Development (SNIDRUS). Source of statistical and geographic information Agri-Food and Fisheries, staff and high quality services, recognized by the objectivity, accuracy and timeliness of information that integrates with the participation of institutions and other actors involved in the matter.
