1. History:
Founded in as early as the 1976s, HungHau Agricultural Joint Stock Company – HungHau Agricultural (formerly Seajoco Vietnam) prides itself on one of the pioneer enterprises, representing for innovation, with a mission to bring seafood-based processed products of outstanding quality and high nutrition to the market.

Over the past 40 years of construction and development, HungHau Agricultural has affirmed its values through endeavors in technology innovation, know-how accumulation, management, staff and workers’ skills improvement.

Our products have had their presence virtually across all continents, meeting a variety of customers’ needs ranging from active to demanding clients for products’ quality and nutrition. Top export markets include European (France, Belgium, Netherlands,…), Japanese, USA, Australian, UAE… markets along with local distribution channel through supermarkets, food services such as Metro, Vinmart, Lotteria, Pizza Hut, Seoul Garden, Circle K…

With our achievement reached so far, we have the solid foundation for further and wider business expansion to agriculture and confidently have the name changed to HungHau Agricultural adopted in early 2015. This opens up, along with the set out goals and missions, a new area for growth and turns a new chapter in company’s history, i.e., HungHau Agricultural Joint Stock Company Agricultural‘s development is proudly a companion with Vietnam’s competitive advantage.

Product quality is vital to HungHau Agricultural, which makes us consecutively enhance the satisfactory for our clients. With this motto, we are committed to:
1. Meet the requirements for timely delivery, quality, food safety and legality
2. Train and coach our employees to increase their awareness of quality management system to meet the requirements relating to the process, product and services.
3. Constantly implement improvement processes
4. Establish, carry on and maintain the food safety management systems following ISO 22000 including complying the relevant regulations on food safety hygiene.

4. Assets and infrastructure
HungHau Agricultural currently owns 4 processing factories, i.e. pangasius and value added products, with a workforce of more than 2,000.

Strategically located in the heart of raw materials’ hub, HHA pro-actively meets its demand for raw materials of high quality and export standard.

Total area: 65.143 m2, factory’s area: 16,556 m2.

Freezing capacity: 70 tons of finished products per day (5 Steel belt freezers (IQF), 3 re-freezers, 8 Air Blast freezers, 9 contact freezers, 5 Flake Ice Makers)

Cold Storage’s capacity: 3,950 tons

Machinery for seafood industry use: grinding machine, mixing machine, steaming machine, frying machine, metal detector…

Microbiological-chemical laboratory: material, water and products’ analysis as per industrial, national, and customers’ standard.

Apart from these, there are precious assets to us, that is, a pool of doctors, professors and more than 700 engineers and skilled workers dedicated to research and production for high quality products.

Founded in 1988, Enterprise of new item or Factory No.1 is a prestigious processing and exporting seafood business. Till July 2000, Enterprise was equitized and renamed into Seafood Joint Stock Company No.1 (trade name: SEAJOCO VIETNAM). In 2006, Seajoco Vietnam issued on the Stock Exchange with code SJ1.

We have a quality management system following international standard ISO 22000, the global food standards BRC, HALAL based on HACCP, SSOP -GMP. The company is licensed to export products to the European market with code DL01 and DL157.

Our products are diversified and mostly items of high value processed from shrimp, squid, octopus, flower crab, fish. Our products are exported and always make partners including Japan, Europe (France, Belgium, Holand…), USA, Australia satisfied. Our products are consumed domestically through the supermarket system, restaurants such as METRO, LOTTEMART, LOTTERIA, PIZZA HUT, SEOUL GARDEN, …
