From its humble beginnings as a smoked herring processor whose market was predominately the West Indies, Leslie Leger & Sons’ products can now be found all over the world. Through the years, the product line has grown to include smoked herring fillets, smoked herring bloaters, mild cured herring, herring roe, back split mackerel, alewives and smelts. As the Company continues to execute its growth strategy, it continues to look for new product opportunities, new markets and innovative technologies to offer the best product and customer service possible.
The Company is located on the shores of the Northumberland Strait in Cap-Pelé, New Brunswick, Canada. Being in such close proximity to where the fish is caught provides the Company with a high quality product to use at its facilities, thereby assuring that our customers continue to receive the highest quality products available in the marketplace.
