Shell fisheries is a company formed by professionals who are engaged in the business of frozen food storage and distribution over the past two decades. The company has its roots in Saudi Arabia where it started this business in the 70's and have now risen to one of the leading frozen food and seafood distributor in that country. This company has their seafood processing unit in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
The new venture in Bahrain in the name of shell fisheries took root in the year 2001. The company has acquired a leased area in Bahrain and constructed a State- Of -The-Art seafood processing unit in the EU Standards. The plant was commissioned in the month of August 2002, on a trial basis and by the begining of the year 2003, the company was running at its full installed capacity.
