TOYOTA INDUSTRIES CORPORATION (Public, TYO:6201) is a Japan-based company that operates in five business divisions. The Automobile division manufactures and sells automobiles, engines, automotive air-conditioners, foundry pieces and electronic equipment. The Industrial Vehicle division provides forklifts, warehouse equipment, automatic warehouse and vehicles for high-place work. The Logistics division provides land carriage services, cash collection and distribution services and proceeds management services. The Textile Machinery division offers weaving machines and spinning machines. The Others division provides semiconductor package boards. The Company has 160 subsidiaries and 26 associated companies. In 2000, Toyota Industries acquired the Swedish-based forklift truck corporation BT Industries, alongside BT's subsidiaries, U.S.-based The Raymond Corporation and the Italian CESAB. Combined with Toyota Industries materials handling division, this created the largest forklift company in the world, Toyota Material Handling Corporation
