Sternchemie was established in 1980 by Volkmar Wywiol, one of the pioneers of the development and marketing of lecithins, and has since grown into a dynamic, customer-oriented ingredients specialist. Besides lecithin, our product range now includes quality MCT oils, vitamin-rich red palm oil and spray-dried coconut milk.
Sternchemie served as the nucleus of the Stern-Wywiol Gruppe – an owner-managed group of eleven specialist companies, independent of the big organizations, operating internationally in the field of Food and Feed Ingredients. The resulting synergisms are obvious: from interdisciplinary applications research at the Technology Centre in Ahrensburg near Hamburg, through the joint use of production plant to the group’s own logistics system we offer our customers a high level of innovation and flexibility.
