Algues & Mer is located in the heart of Iroise sea, 20 km off Brittany coasts, on a site exceptionally rich in seaweeds (300 species known, living in sometimes in enormous settlements).
Algues & Mer harvests brown seaweeds, and farms a very special red seaweed.
Still on the island, the company extracts from these seaweeds active ingredients mostly for cosmetics and nutraceutics. But for agronomy, human or animal health, too.
Original extraction processes are natural, without chemical solvent, nor additive, nor preservative. And without any risk for this unique ecosystem.
Algues & Mer is exporting more than 2/3 of its production worldwide
