Unima is an international leader of the high shrimp market. It has continually invented and promoted eco-friendly models, of responsible fishing and non-intensive shrimp farming.
Unima translated its beliefs into actions and commitments and developed a strategy of vertical integration , this led to the aware of the French label Rouge certification, well known for products of excellence, organic label and ASC certification.
Unima has always been committed to sustainable development and its actions are recognized by WWF in Madagascar with whom Unima signed since 2007 a partnership agreement.
