Mussel Producers Association of Cape Cross (ASMECRUZ) was born on October 25, 1975, when a group of bateeiros of Cape Cross Parish in La Coruña in Boiroconcello organized to jointly defend their interests . The association now has 116partners and a total of 154 raft.
The operating philosophy of ASMECRUZ, from its constitution as it is today, and as a pioneering partnership, the foundation has been adapted and renewed on an ongoing basis to meet the ongoing changes and challenges that the production andmarketing of mussels requires for in the future to remain a point of reference andmanagement model.
Destinations for the ASMECRUZ product are both the Spanish domestic market and exportabroad, particularly Italy and France, while engaged in a continuing international expansion and opening of new markets, exceeding our sales of 7 million euros.
