Miljøprosess AS is a traditional fish meal and fish oil factory which was bought by Scanbio in 2004. Miljøprosess AS is located in Båtsfjord municipality in Finnmark. Miljøprosess AS produces fishmeal and fish oil from fresh raw materials, primarily herring and capelin. The production capacity is approx. 130 000 tons of raw material. The facilities also serve as temporary storage for silage before shipment to Scanbio’s other production plants.
