Tracing its origin to 1993, Haikui Aquatic Products Processing Co., Ltd. Has begun seafood production for domestic seafood market in early years after China’s opening up to the rest of the world in 1978, main business stretching to medium and large cities of East China. From the beginning, the founder Mr. Chen ZhenKui runs the plant with the philosophy “Science and technology makes safe & healthy foods possible”. With years’ efforts made in upgrading of cost-effective production and business expansion, the company reshuffled itself as Haikui Aquatic Products Group (Haikui Group) in Year 2000. As a leading seafood processor and exporter in China, Haikui Group vertically integrates aqua-farm, processing plants, seafood R&D and warehousing to enable a streamlined supply network for global operation.
Covering over a floorage of 50,000Sqm, the garden-style plant is located in Dongshan Island, the fishery products distribution center of Fujian province, with one hour's drive to Xiamen and Shantou via express-way respectively, enabling excellent transport condition for container volume exportation. All processing workshops are built in line with international norms of SSOP, HACCP, GMP and ISO9000 for cost-effective production. In 2006, the processing plant has been Eu approved. The products, esp. the farmed species, are fully operated with the Eu sanitation requirements.
