BARNA was created in 1961 with the initiative of fishers and conservationists to provide an outlet for surplus fishing and by-products generated by the fishing industry. Since then dedicated to the recovery of by-products from fish processing into fish meal and oil. The company is located between Mundaka and Bermeo, in full biosphere reserve of Urdaibai. Our facilities are equipped with modern processing systems that meet all the regulations related to our sector. We currently manage 20,000 annual tonnes of fish by-products from markets, ports, canning, filleting, smokehouses, distribution centers, fish, etc ... We serve 400 clients-providers in an area spanning northern Spain and southwestern France.
