Boyfood Ltd is Finland’s leading company for producing and marketing high quality herring products for consumers, retailers and institutional kitchens.
All of our herring products are manufactured near the site where Finnish herring production got its start, in the renowned herring harbour in Rymättylä. The four production lines at our modern production facility produce everything for a delectable table spread, including pickled herring, vacuum-packed herring, herring for use in catering and traditional whole herring products. In addition to marketing our products under the Boy brand name, we also manufacture herring products under private labels.
Founded in 1977, Boyfood Ltd is part of the international Fram Foods Group. We oversee the entire herring production of the entire Group and market its consumer packaged seafood products in Finland. In addition to Finland, Fram Foods has production facilities in Iceland, Sweden, France, Germany and Chile.
Boyfood Ltd has an annual turnover of approximately 18.5 million euro and we employ an average of 50 personnel.
