Tunamar started operations in Cadiz in2000. The company is part of the ATCO group within the fishing division of KG Dieter ARFS GMBH & Co. More than 50 years experience in the industry, as well as its outstanding development in the German market have allowed this important seafood company to launch operations in Andalucia. Today, Tunamar is concentrated in the marketing of sashimi producs, especially all tuna species and swordfish, fresh and frozen caught in the best Atlantic Ocean zones. Atunes del Maresme SL is the marketing and sales company of the seafood division of ATCO, the August Töpfer group, a German company based in Hamburg with interests in both food and non-food items. Atunes deals in several species of tuna, as well as swordfish, oilfish, mahi-mahi, and marlin. Both Atunes and AVTS have received the MSC chain of custody certification and can store, process and distribute MSC-certified fish. And we are in process for BRC and IFS
