What started out as a traditional landingstation with just a few employees has since grown to become one of northern norways's largest aquaculture companies employing around 100 people during high seasons. Ever since it was founded by Karsten J. Ellingsen in 1947, several generations of the Ellingsen family have made the company what it is today.
A merger between Karsten J. Ellingsen AS, Høllalaks AS and Ellingsen Holding AS resulted in the creation of Ellingsen Seafood AS, an aquaculture company that focuses on the farming, harvesting, sale and export of salmon. The company also produces large quantities of herring and whitefish.
Ellingsen Seafood AS strives constantly to maintainits leading position, both in terms of technology and products, in order to guarantee the best possible products for quality-conscious customers, both locally and internationally.
