Virginia Shrimp Farms, owned 100% by Blue Ridge Aquaculture, is a development company that is engaged in research and commercialization of shellfish in RAS. VSF operates in a 30,000 Sq. Ft. R&D facility located adjacent to the tilapia production facility. The company is currently researching the production of Pacific White Shrimp, the most consumed species of seafood in the US, and the Virginia Oyster, a lost agribusiness industry in Virginia.
