In year 2013 the largest Norwegian investor in Dalian, namely Dalian Dyrkorn Fishing Gear Co., Ltd. subordinated to MORENOT HOLDING GROUP, started formal production, with the total investment of Euro 5 million. Its products mainly include deep-sea fishing gears for ships, all of which will be exported. Through this project, DFTZ will further improve the quality and benefits of exports, accelerate the industry-city linkage, and impel urbanization development via industrial projects. It is learnt that after its settlement, this project will not only introduce the world-class production equipment, core technology and advanced concept into Liangjiadian Industrial Park, but more importantly it will provide over 300 job opportunities for local people.
Founded in 1948, Norway MORENOT HOLDING GROUP mainly specializes in offshore oil exploration and equipment R&D, aquaculture and equipment manufacturing, deep-sea fishing supplies and equipment development (fishing net products) and deep-sea fishing supplies and equipment development (rope products). MORENOT GROUP has 21 wholly-owned subsidiaries and 8000 employees. Its products have been sold worldwide with the annual sales revenues of USD 8 billion. Dalian Dyrkorn Fishing Gear Co., Ltd. is the only subsidiary of DYRKORN (under MORENOT GROUP) within the territory of China. This project was completed in Liangjiadian Industrial Park in March 2013, with the floor area of 15,000 m2.
Mørenot Dyrkorn has delivered longlines and equipment to fishermen for 100 years
The area around 62 ° north, off the Norwegian coast, has always had a strong and active longline fishing environment. Mørenot Dyrkorn was established to produce and deliver equipment to the fleet of longline fishing vessels. The vessels did go even farther away from home. Together with fishermen, we created a development environment that eventually also involved research, and Mørenot Dyrkorn became the world leader in the longline fishing area.
Dyrkorn longlines are used in coastal longline fishing and in longline fishing in deep waters. As the longline fishing has become more industrialized and larger, larger values are at stake. Mørenot Dyrkorn's close contact with shipowners and fishermen has had an even bigger impact.
