Five strong pool members support the fleet and form the backbone of the ART Pool operation, all working in a tandem for direct service and support. These are the Laskaridis Shipping Company Ltd., Athens, with its holding company Lavinia as a cargo provider; Limarko Shipping Co, Klaipeda (ex Klaipeda Transport Fleet); Riga Transport Fleet, Riga; JSC Ships Service Agency, Klaipeda; and JSC Yugreftransflot Co. Ltd., Sevastopol.
ART as Pool Manager for presently 46 ships operates world wide not only in the frozen but also perishable trades. Frozen fish of all species is a major item for the group's ships, followed by frozen poultry and fruits such as citrus, apples and pears, and bananas as well as vegetables. The various available sizes allow for the right choice of vessel by the many clients on the market.
The services include, of course, professional transportation and operational back-up by experienced seamen and staff ashore. Fleet performance supported by the professional shipowners, and their specialists in handling this tonnage will deal with all tasks with their long year's experience.
