PROCABLES SA started its activities since 1960 under the name Production SA Wires and Derivatives In 1968 the statute was amended to adopt the name PROLANSA . The initial course of business was the manufacture of wires and related to the construction industry and farming products , the production of steel cables for use by industrial activities (construction, mining, fisheries , telecommunications), manufacturing steel mesh for livestock and construction , and finally the manufacture of springs and parts for the automotive industry .
Since May 1994 , an International Consortium integrates PROLANSA associated with Bekaert of Belgium , a world leader in research, development and manufacture of steel wire and its derivatives, with over 100 years experience and 85 plants in 19 countries in Europe , Asia and America. This was divided and PROCABLES born , who is responsible for the production and distribution of steel cables, and with the other lines PROLANSA it merged with Cassado , born steel products Cassado PRODAC
