The Shrimp Division of COONAPROSAL RL has more than 40 small and medium sized shrimp growers who together produce more than 1,000,000 pounds annually (they grow the "Pacific White Shrimp, litopeneaus vannamei). Our product is marketed under the "Camarones del Sol" brand name.
The shrimp production systems of our members are located in the Gulf of Nicoya region, in the Provinces of Guanacaste and Puntarenas; an area also known for its´ attractiveness for tourism and its´ outstanding natural beauty.
