Food Innovation Australia Ltd (Fial) was established to accelerate commercially-driven collaboration and innovation in the Australian food and beverage industry. We were launched as part of the government’s Industry and Innovation Statement: A Plan for Australian Jobs. We are an industry-led network and take a collective approach, ensuring the greatest productivity, profitability and resilience for our food and beverage sector. We work on a national level to coordinate existing services and leverage Australian research capacity. We provide new tools and services to enable organisations to invest, innovate and grow.
As a government-funded initiative, we focus on emerging opportunities and improving Australia’s competitive advantage in global matters such as Asian growth, economic variability and climate change.
We continually engage with all stakeholders and Fial members, to collectively and strategically grow a sustainable Australian food industry. By working together, we have the opportunity of creating the right environment to increase Australian jobs, design new products and services and support our industry supply chains to become more effective and efficient.
