Folsø Seafood A / S was founded in October 2003 by Bear Folsø. The company started as a one man business based on trade in fresh and frozen fish. The aim was to deliver products to the Danish fishing industry.
In June 2005 Nicolaj Thaisen was employed as an export salesman.
Bear Folsø and Nicolaj Thaisen had for years been colleagues in other fishing industries and are thus known each other well.
In September 2005, Nicolaj Thaisen co-owner of the company.
The company has in recent years evolved as an importer, especially as major buyer of exotic frozen goods from Asia. This has led to Folsø Seafood today purchasing / sales office in Vietnam, where 2-3 local staff responsible for the daily operation. With this move, the company asserted a constant supply of quality products from the East.
