Akva-tek Sdn Bhd is a joint-venture (JV) company between Hooker Chemical Sdn Bhd (HCSB - an wholly own subsidiary of Brite-Tech Berhad), Malaysia and Bio-Aqua A/S, Denmark. The JV Company was incorporated in Malaysia under the Companies Act 1965 in 2009 as a private limited company. HCSB has been primarily involved in industrial wastewater treatment offering complete turnkey waste water treatment plants since 1989 and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Brite-Tech Bhd listed on ACE market of Bursa Malaysia. For Bio-Aqua A/S, the company has been involved in ozone technology for years especially in the aquaculture and agriculture, in particular animal manure, waste water in Denmark.
