In the spring of 2012 we took a trip to NYC to make a documentary about finding a recipe for the future. In the streets of Brooklyn and Manhattan we spoke to chefs and restaurant owners about the right usage or application of seaweed. We served a 100% plant based hamburger enriched with seaweed to pedestrians from a food truck and the responses we received from New Yorkers were extremely positive. The movie combined with the recipe turned out to be a success. Back home in NL the positive reactions furthered our ambition and we knew this little green plant could be the new gold and created The Dutch Weed Burger. We believe we are part of a new and necessary development and we all have roles to play. We are now dedicated to enriching even more fast food snacks with seaweed, along with challenging your taste buds and staying ahead of the healthy food trends! We Go As We Grow! Taste The Change!
