Seafish wholesale Jan Prins b.v was officially founded in 1923 and traded fresh and salted fish. First the nearby countries, but when cooling techniques improved further countries where supplied, from England till Persia. Nowadays, Jan Prins b.v. is a modern import - export company, specialized in flat fish (Plaice, Sole, Turbot and Brill). Having seen the changes in supply by boat and the changes in public opinion about fishing, the management decided to add sustainable caught fish to the sell list. The Company is both MSC and FOS certified for the Dover Sole (Solea Solea).
