The Scottish Aquaculture Innovation Centre aims to transform the relationship between the aquaculture industry and research community. We aim to generate closer connections between these two communities. We want to foster innovative industry-relevant collaboration.
One of eight Innovation Centres established by the Scottish Government in 2013-2014, we are funded by the Scottish Funding Council (in partnership with Scottish Enterprise and Highlands and Islands Enterprise) and by industry.
The aim of all our work is commercial success and economic growth. Our long-term success can be measured in terms of aquaculture’s contribution to Scotland’s economy and reputation.
The Innovation Centre programme has been registered with the European Commission as a General Block Exemption Scheme.
