Vartdal Seafood AS was founded in 1987. Vartdal Seafood is the exclusive distributor of the well-known brand "RAMOEN". Serving both large and smaller customers, domestics and abroad, with standard of specialized products, Vartdal Seafood takes pride in delivering customers the finest Frozen At Sea products. As well as being Norway`s largest exporter of white fishmeal produced at sea, the company also trades seafrozen products from other factory trawlers and longliners. AS Ramoen is owned by the family companies Eros AS (65%) and the former owners of Vartdal Fiskeriselskap AS (35%). Both companies have a long history as owners of deep sea fishing vessels. “Ramoen” is managed by Vartdal Seafood AS.
